Kilsby Parish Plan: A brief history and update, November 2006.

The Kilsby Parish Plan Steering Group, comprised of volunteers, first met in Summer 2006 to review existing Kilsby improvement initiatives and ascertain what Kilsby feels it needs and what could be improved.

The thinking behind Parish Plans is that communities are best placed to identify their own needs and tackle their own problems.

Parish Plans are all about community involvement and to maximise this we held an Open Needs Evening on 25 August 2006 in the Kilsby Village Hall. This was a very successful event and the comments offered proved invaluable in writing October and November’s Kilsby Parish Plan Questionnaire.

Early questionnaire results are forming some consistently requested initiatives and we intend to present these findings in the Village Hall at the Parish Plan Findings Evening on 27 January 2007. Do come along!

All being well, a completed a Kilsby Parish Plan document will be published in March/April 2007 with copies available from this website.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the Open Evening and completed the survey.
